Пожарные Гидранты мира. My collection of Fire Hydrants

Есть у меня бзик собирать пожарные краны из разных уголков планеты. Они все такие Разные

Думаю это Британское влияние. Я похожие видел в Макао.

Вот Еще один, красный только. Я не понимаю значения цепочек. В некоторыхгородах они есть и прикручены к основным гидрантам. Крадут, видать. А здесь, видимо, проблема и была в прошлом, но потом преступность победили и цепочки от основания открутили уповая на гражданскую совесть.

А это уже Шенжень - Китай. Крепко крышечки привязаны.

Интересная Китайская мудрость

Китайская пословица гласит: "для того, чтобы получить от жизни максимум всего, нужно родиться в Сучжоу, жить в Ханчжоу, есть в Гуанчжоу, умереть а Лючжоу". Сучжоу известен своими красивыми женщинами, Ханчжоу - пейзажем и парками, Лючжоу - лучшим деревом для изготовления гробов, Гуанчжоу - своей кухней и ресторанами. 

А в уездном городе Н было все под рукой

On our way home

We are in my favourite city again.

You know you are in San Francisco even just looking at any shop. Like this...



Polina was hungry for american food after a month on Chinese. Eyes flashed with joy after we saw this....

... And 45 minutes later I realized that now I have to get used to western food again. Thankfuly there's plenty washrooms around.

We were jet legged and were very sleepy. We put our backpacks down and had a snooze right in community garden.

Hong Kong

We stopped by and I used an opportunity to open an HSBC account .

There's a couple interesting things I saw in HK

You can change your eyes to european style. I wonder if you can change it the other way.



What is cool, that right at passport control booth while your passport is checked, there is a smiley box with mints in it. Really nice

We are in Macau

Currency is MOP, which is a bit cheaper than HKG dollar but they accept at par. It is called Pataca. Boone knows how to say it. They call it MOP. First thing we saw was a big poster on taxi with performance of cirque du soleil. We got our plans for evening. We caught a taxi to most famous Portugese restaurant in Macau. By opening time there was a line of at least 50 people. Food was good and we caught a bus to see colonial architecture









We couldn't miss Cirque Du Soleil show and spent most of the day in casino where theatre was. Quite impressive but missed all day light to go sightseeing.

Day X

To be on safe side we decided to leave Mainland China a day earlier than Visa expiry date. We are going to Macau and tomorrow HK flight. Macau was a Portugese colony till 1999 and as I read has lots to offer to a traveler. Can't wait to get there.
